Journey Through Grief - Music
I love how songs can express emotions that you don’t even know you are feeling and give words to grief. Each and every time I play one of these songs, I sob. Warm tears pour down my cheeks and I like it. I love the release of emotion and just being able to sob and breathe again. The songs listed are a mixture of my heart breaking after my son died and the others are my cry out to God to not let me drown in my grief. I pray that they speak truth to you and provide a way to let out your tears as you journey through your grief. There is no perfect song for all loss, so the only way to find the one that celebrates your baby and provides you hope is to start listening through the list. Your loss is unique and your song will be unique.
